Morning Poetry 5 March 2011

Life.
Tenuous.
In dreams
I can touch
Living on the Edge
Shocking
Disconcerting
Nightmares.
A Moment
Waking Up
Seeing
directly
into
the Precipice
Miraculously
I don’t turn away
The winds of
it’s Dark Caverns
snuff
the flicker of
my breath
strip
the tattered rags from
my body.
Naked
I feel
sunshine warming my face
raindrops cleansing my skin
birdsong reverberating through my whole body
Perhaps
for the first time
Real.

This is so gorgeous! I loved reading it and can’t wait to see more.
As for me….I better get busy!
